A fixed, or permanent bridge replaces one or more teeth by placing crowns on the teeth on either side of the gap and attaching a tooth in between to close the space. The bridge is cemented into place. Options also include a “cantilever” where a tooth is added, or attached to the cemented crown on one side of the open space.
